Rules and Guidelines
- St. Mary’s will provide tasting bowls, serving spoons, tasting spoons, napkins, crackers, milk (for anyone feeling brave with the spicy samples!), mac and cheese, and a selection of beer, wine, punch, water, and cookies.
- All chili entries will remain anonymous and will be assigned a number for judging by attendees.
- You’re welcome to include beans and use any combination of beef, pork, or turkey. Vegetarian entries are also welcome. (We just ask that you skip the venison for this event.)
- All chili must be fully cooked at home and brought ready to serve in a slow cooker or crock-pot. Please remember to bring a serving spoon and any toppings you’d like to offer—cheese, sour cream, hot sauce, or anything that makes your chili shine. We encourage you to make a full pot; anything remaining at the end of the event may be taken home.
- If you have any questions, please call the parish office—we’re happy to help!
