Many of you have asked about my life, my studies, my credentials and my experiences facilitating Religious Education Programs. I hope that this helps.
I am the Director of Faith Formation and Catechesis at St. Mary’s of the Lake in Skaneateles, NY.
I have taught for over 30 years in Grades 6, 7, 10 and 12. Most recently, I taught at Bishop Ludden Junior Senior High for the last five years.
I have a Masters in Education, a Masters in Administration and a Licentiate in Sacred Theology – specializing in Catechesis and Youth from the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome, Italy.
I have been an Elementary School principal for three different Catholic Schools in the USA.
I have been fortunate to also have done work as a Director of Religious Education in both Canada and the USA.
I love to mentor new Catechists, and help coordinate the St. Mary’s of the Lake sacramental preparation programs of First Holy Communion and Confirmation as the Director of Faith Formation and Catechesis.
I also facilitate a program for Special Needs Students in Syracuse near Holy Family Parish in Fairmount, called SPAR (SPECIAL PROGRAM OF ADAPTIVE RELIGIOUS EDUCATION)
Lastly, I was involved in the Lifetime reality tv series TV show “Sisterhood: becoming nuns”.
